Good morning everybody. How's it going? My name is Karl and I'm one of the co-founders of Eth Global and I'm super excited to welcome all of you to Pragma. Every Solidity developer knows that a smart contract and an ID starts with the word Pragma. It's not just the beginning of a developer's journey, but for us this event is a call towards pragmatism.
The goal here is very simple. We want people to learn about what's happening with Web3 at the edge and use that to bring a lot more people into this space. Yeah, it's been it's really fun to see the community come together in an event like this in one of my favorite cities in the world. So very excited that you know, to be a part of this event that was organized and see the community come from all over. So it's been great so far.
Yeah, it's been a fantastic day and it's been great to share a panel with some of the esteemed ZK researchers to kind of exchange our thoughts about the latest state of the market and also what's been happening under the hood. Watching the Eth Global community grow over the years has been phenomenal and like looking at events like this, everything is so polished. There's energy in the room. I mean pure excitement. Yeah, it's been awesome.
Uh Pragma is is always event that I consider to be this prestigious meeting the researchers, builders. Ethereum is obviously the dominant smart contract platform and I think that will simply continue to be the case. It will grow as the rest of the ecosystem grows and because of its central position, it will naturally benefit from all the the new innovation. I really want to see the mass adoption happening on Ethereum and to bring normal people to on chain, we need to make things a lot less frictionless, a lot more safe, a lot more you know, like reliable for them so they feel comfortable transacting on chain. Deeply invested in the future of modular blockchains because modular blockchains enable more flexibility and scalability for blockchain applications.
Uh Pragma has been one of the most attended events that I've been to. So, uh that's that's that's very good to see uh very high participation. The events have been really enlightening and illuminating uh and I'm not a little biased uh in being one of the participants. This community being able to pull more talent into the space and are continuously growing. So, every time you go to an Ethereum event, it's um you meet a lot of faces that you already recognize, but then there's also every time new places, new faces that come.
What we want Pragma to be is in a place where you are an equal with everybody that's helping move this forward because everybody who's going to make that happen is in that room for the whole day.
