[Music] Day one is it's really exciting. We're here in Khan in the south of France. We're literally right on the beach. This is a beautiful destination. I love the place.

The excitement is very prevalent.

I'm forever a big fan of hackathons with e label. The venue on the vibes are amazing.

We all love, you know, Ethereum and seeing it get built. So like their conversations go and the building can go late into the evening and I get to share music at the events too. So I love doing that.

It's an amazing destination. I like that the city is very compact. the the energy is super optimistic and I've had really great quality conversations. [Music]

Day two is when you really start to get into the grind.

I think just like the speed at which people are working um and willing to just like push the boundaries uh it's really hard to find that other places. You come here, you see all the companies doing stuff, all the startups are making things and really gives you the vibes that you can do things.

You're really locked down and there are still things going on, but you kind of try to keep your focus.

So, my favorite part of the hackathon, I think, is reconnecting with my old friends, meeting new friends, just learning more.

My highlight has definitely been the sleepless nights. It's very nice to walk around and see everyone awake at 5:00 a.m. [Music] There's tons of hackers. Uh huge number actually.

It's really a super popular hackathon. People working on all different kinds of projects in crypto with AI. The teams are very hands-on. So the productivity is through the roof. My thinking on hackathons is that that they're really best at feedback, at getting thoughts on new things that have launched, but also for building community amongst the different builders.

Day three is no time. That is when you have been grinding for days. You're riding on no sleep. You're rushing to put in the last few pieces together.

We have been interviewing. We did almost over 50 interviews. We spoke with many many people, asked the judges many questions and we were under immense amount of stress. Of the five teams I've seen so far in the judging, basically only one slept throughout the last night.

We are seeing a lot of commits at like 3:00 a.m. 6:00 a.m.

Everyone is trying to maximize the time they have to build. It's always exciting to see people build their projects in such a short period of time and then get to present them on stage. Might be the venue, might be the fireworks on the opening day, but yeah, everyone is very energized here. [Applause]

We're so lucky, all of us.

The energy is really high. Everything is wonderful. Uh the judges are really awesome. They show a lot of interest in the project. So, it's just a roller coaster of energy all around.

I'm excited about let's say physical product as well where we literally bridge the physical side of things with the digital like blockchain world.

Maybe one day they will make a movie about web three and what we did in those years.

ETH global always does an amazing job in terms of organizing food was always you know food's great. We are trying to build a new way of possibilities that technology and blockchain especially allow us to build. Uh so that's why I keep coming back. goal of ETH global is really just to like bring as many smart people together in the same space with a shared goal of trying out new things. We've been doing more and more meetups and co-working spaces and smaller events all across the world in addition to these big hackathons that we do.

And I can't wait for next year because we're going to do a 100 more of these.
