Parallel - Base Builder Stories

[Music] my name is Koji nagada and I'm the head of game development and design at parallel Studios basically I make the rules for the game parallel is a TCG stands for trading card game two players face off against each other with a deck that they've created beforehand and then as the game goes on you're drawing cards and using resources to pay for those cards to attack your opponent and the idea is that you can collect and trade cards in order to create the deck that you'd like and what we're trying to solve really is ownership with a physical card game when you're done with the card games or you pull a really rare card you're able to take that card to the store and resell it or trade it but with digital games up to this point the money that you put into the game can never be taken out again and so we wanted to give players that freedom the role that bass plays in parallel is it allows us to create and distribute new cards to our players on a scale that wouldn't be possible with a layer one like ethereum by Building on Base we're able to make the game more accessible to more players our goal is for the game to be available to everyone in base helps us do that probably the most compelling stat that I can share is that prior to the games launch we already have 200 000 users waiting to play which is super exciting for me and for the team at parallel it means that we can continue sort of making our dream a reality foreign
